This book is awesome. Its a hands-on way of creating beautiful pieces of artwork rather than staring at a computer screen. I highly recommend it!

It’s nice to see the hand of the maker in print again. Nice book for getting inspiration from.

3 years old and I still turn to this book for inspiration. It’s a great resource, especially in a world filled with so many graphic design books that rely heavily on overly computerized and super trendy samples.

I bought this book after Amazon recommended it…

Pros: It has pictures and less words.

Caveats: examples are average. I owe illustration books that give better ideas.

Summary: It is average and likely overrated. I am afraid it will be buried in my library….I better put it for sale on this site..mmm…
